Shore Power Systems
Flexible, relocatable shore power solutions designed for maritime applications, shipyards, and ports.
Relocatable Shore Power Units
Providing a reliable shore power connection for docked vessels demands strict requirements regarding voltage, frequency, and galvanic isolation. To allow onboard auxiliary engines to be shut down and to minimize harbor emissions and noise, Mc Energy designs and manufactures high-quality, mobile shore power systems.
Our rugged, plug-and-play shore power units are available for 63A, 125A, and 250A connection capacities. Thanks to their compact and transportable design, these units can be easily relocated via forklift or crane and quickly commissioned on-site.
GridConn Integration & Grid Independence
Utilizing our proven GridConn technology, our shore power units seamlessly bridge varying shore supply voltages and frequencies (50Hz / 60Hz). This guarantees a safe and clean power supply to the vessel's grid, regardless of its country of origin or local quay infrastructure. Already during the design phase we took into account the directives as stipulated in the IEC60364 as well as the directives by the classification societies for shore powered vessels.
Additionally, systems can be optionally configured with integrated battery energy storage or connected to onsite renewables. This enables peak shaving for high power demands without exceeding the port's localized grid limits.
